Hopefully, it’s not an effort to distract us from subpar meats by using above-par booties, but in any case, it might be a useful ploy to get your dad to take you there for dinner. There will be dancing girls hypnotically trembling their hips in Carnival costumes along with live Samba music every night. While high-price Brazilian rarely captivates us the way the ten dollar steaks and soulful feijoada in El Sereno and Culver City do, Samba has a gimmick ripe for this location that straddles the line between hospitality and entertainment. Reuters tells us there is also a bar dedicated to Caipirinhas, with 24 flavors including jalapeno-cucumber (yum!) and Caipiroska bubblegum (yuck!). As the menu under chef Jason Ryczek is seasonal, various recipes of his design like lobster mashed potatoes will also routinely appear to take command of the capital of Universal Studio’s nightlife. As you clever readers might have deduced, Samba is a Brazilian restaurant and is serving churrascharia and rodizio, skewered cuts of meat served table side for a prix-fixe price.

Very bad experience.Samba has shaken its tail feathers from Redondo Beach to a second, more spectacular location at Universal Studios’ CityWalk. He never smiled, worst attitude I have ever seen in a manager. We asked him to take us a picture and he said that he was busy. Something remarkable was that the manager was very rude with almost every employee and some customers. Attitude from everybody was very bad, poor customer service. Our drinks arrived to the table after 25 minutes, I asked for an spoon several times and no body helped me, I went to servers room and got it for my self. The place was extremely dirty, the restrooms were incredibly and extremely dirty and in a very bad condition (photos attached) salad bar was having almost nothing and it was just 6 PM.

Ever since we arrived to the place and they got to know that we were a Groupon reservation, they didn't treat us nice, we were not the priority for them, maybe because we were a Groupon reservation. I purchased the Groupon deal for this restaurant. Yesterday me and my family went to celebrate the 40th wedding anniversary of my parents. Worst experience ever on one of The worst restaurants I have ever visited. Well Samba required for us to pay gratuity on the original price of what the meal would have cost without the Groupon! Basically we got the Groupon for nothing! We paid nearly $200 in gratuity! Which is crazy because most of the food is buffet and you serve yourself! When I write a review that is not 5 stars I always try to explain the negatives but point out the positives, I at a loss here. On another note, we were a large party of over 15 we had prepaid with deals on Groupon for like 2 for $65 /3 for $109, etc. Unfortunately the new meat was black and burned but still bloody on the inside! It tasted like charcoal. After speaking to management, I was offered to receive a plate especially prepared well done delivered to my table. Besides the fact that I was not able to get a single piece of well done beef, the seasoning was just not delicious to me. I did not have a great experience! Brazillian Steakhouse is my new favorite cuisine for the past 2 years and in my opinion this place did not do it justice.
